Conifer Health HR Exec Earns 2017 Minority Business Leader Award
Dallas Business Journal Recognizes Cole Brown for Professional Accomplishments, Community Service
Frisco, Texas – Jan. 6, 2017 – Cole Brown, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Conifer Health Solutions, has been honored with Dallas Business Journal’s “2017 Minority Business Leader Award.”
The annual awards program, now in its 10th year, recognizes North Texas’ top minority business leaders. As an awardee, Brown joins a slate of senior-level executives who have demonstrated professional accomplishments, community leadership, and a commitment to philanthropy, as well as numerous other awards and milestones. This year’s class of about two-dozen awardees will be honored at a luncheon Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Sheraton Hotel Dallas. Honorees will also be profiled in a special section in the print and online editions of the Dallas Business Journal on Feb. 24.
“Cole is an invaluable member of our senior leadership team,” said Stephen M. Mooney, president and CEO of Conifer Health. “Her commitment to the well-being of each team member and her professional contributions have resulted in greater team member engagement, a remarkable increase in talent to support Conifer Health’s rapid growth and has led to our first-ever ranking on Forbes magazine’s 2016 America’s Best Employers.”
Recognition as one of Dallas Business Journal’s Minority Business Leaders follows Brown’s receipt of the National Diversity Council’s (NDC) “Top 15 Business Women in Dallas” award in November 2016. The NDC honored Brown for driving change and innovating and inspiring others to succeed while contributing to business growth and the strategic direction of Conifer Health.
