Ben oversees AR operations for Conifer’s Commercial, Common Spirit, and Tenet clients, and is responsible for cash collections across all business lines. His role covers a wide range of responsibilities including insurance billing (Medicare and non-government) collections, payer escalations, credit balance resolutions, terms and conditions, technical denials, and operations.

He also leads key support functions, such as the appeals process, hard copy billing, and any other AR-related items our client organization might require.

Additionally, Ben manages the Client Performance and Delivery team, ensuring client PSLs are met with expected consistency. He regularly engages with client leadership to monitor performance and ensure service levels are achieved and our client relationships are solid.

Ben originally joined Tenet in 2003 in an entry-level billing position and has worked his way into management. In 2013, he transitioned to Client Delivery with Conifer and later served as Senior Director of Client Performance. During his tenure with Conifer, he’s led operations for multiple Conifer clients and more recently Tenet. In 2024, Ben assumed responsibility for all HRCM AR.

Known for earning clients’ trust in handling complex situations, Ben is an innovative thinker who provides creative solutions to emerging challenges. His extensive experience, from entry-level positions to senior leadership roles, gives him a unique perspective that enables him to understand issues from all angles and develop solutions that satisfy the concerns of all parties involved. As a team leader, he encourages his team to focus on the bigger picture, minimizing redundant tasks, and driving efficient operations.

Ben has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from DeVry University and was a recipient of the Tenet Heroes Award in 2010 and 2011.
