Conifer Health and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health Expand Relationship
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital adopts Conifer for comprehensive RCM Services
Continued collaboration yields improved patient experience and financial/operational results
Frisco, Texas – June 24, 2019 – Conifer Health Solutions today announced a new revenue cycle management (RCM) agreement with Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD), a member of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH) based in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The addition of APD further expands the number of facilities benefitting from end-to-end RCM services that Conifer Health has provided to hospitals and clinics within the D-HH integrated health system.
“Conifer continues to elevate the strategic value of revenue cycle management by consistently delivering on key performance metrics. Their expertise helps D-HH maintain the firm financial footing to realize our vision for a sustainable health system that will serve New Englanders for generations to come,” said Dan Jantzen, chief financial officer for D-HH. “As D-HH and APD work to connect people throughout New Hampshire and Vermont to the thriving, integrated care community they expect, we rely on Conifer to deliver the high-quality patient financial experience they deserve.”
Since initiated in late 2016, the relationship between D-HH and Conifer Health has yielded important financial results for the health system including a 4.5 percent basis point improvement in operating margins and a 26 percent reduction in A/R days outstanding. Conifer Health will provide patient access, enrollment and eligibility, coding and accounts receivable management services at APD and has demonstrated their ability to enhance patient satisfaction and revenue capture, reduce denials and improve overall cash flow and operating margins across the system. APD is the second D-HH system member to adopt Conifer Health for comprehensive RCM services, following Cheshire Medical Center which engaged the company in November 2017.
“We are proud to continue our successful collaboration with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health and to support their efforts to create stronger, more integrated relationships with member hospitals and providers throughout the region,” said Stephen M. Mooney, president and CEO of Conifer Health. “The impact of our work extends beyond improved margins, reduced costs and more efficient operations. As part of the community, we have also made a commitment to bring the highest quality service to patients and their families whenever and wherever they access care.”
